From the website, Sysco has established the Quality Assurance Database (QA Database), which provides immediate electronic access to the suppliers’ portion of Sysco specification database. While our suggestion is that suppliers can use basic data collection and visualization software to achieve higher product traceability, reduce waste and optimize processes. Therefore, managers can monitor processes through multiple dashboards, track operator efficiency and perform yield analysis to achieve better productivity and profitability.

      The second point is enhancing the quality from the supplier aspect. Sysco Corporation Supplier Code of Conduct applies to all vendors and suppliers of Sysco Corporation and its operating subsidiaries, affiliates and divisions. Therefore, one suggestion is that among these suppliers both from domestic and international, Sysco can integrate part of these resources, providing a higher quality to their customers. 

 

Food Traceability - We believe that food traceability system can help Sysco's enterprise realize the supervision of the whole life cycle of product breeding, production, sales, circulation, public service and logistics. It can present the information to consumers in real time through the Internet, terminal inquiry machine, telephone, SMS, and theoretically achieve full knowledge of the whole process of food from farm to table.

Sysco website - it also listed several points from the technology aspect, such as Sysco portal, Sysco shop, Sysco Delivery and other relative sources. Therefore, Sysco, one of the largest food retailers in the world, it is supposed to build and operate food retailers, product and customers in digital relationship.

Finally, Sysco should establish a strong database, connecting the customers, suppliers, and delivers.
